The location of this boutique hotel is very near the Nankai Line train Kishinosata-Tamade Station, that connects to the Kansai International Hotel in less than an hour at 920yen. Another metro station is further away, ~500m and has better connectivity. This area is not as congested and very peaceful. We looked forward to the journey back to the hotel each time. We stayed at this hotel for 9 days (the price point was unbeatable!) as a base to visit Kyoto, Nara, Kobe and Himeiji. Our room size, 16msq was OK for Japan and we had 1 medium and 2 small suitcases. We had daily house keeping which was nice. The street is a covered street (I. E it won't gets wet if it rains) and lined with shops that sells sushi. It has a supermarket, a bakery and 2 other restaurants. On the way to the metro, you can find more restaurants (the yakiniku restaurant was awesome), McD and 7-11. Next to the hotel is a gated carpark... If not mistaken, 600yen per day. If we are to come back to Osaka, we will definately choose Bande Hotel OSAKA all over again!

It took some time to find this area thanks to google map guided me the right direction. Coming from Tamade Station the walk took around 3-9min and very convenient spot for food restaurants, 7 eleven and so on which nice to grab some late snack or hot meal nearby. The staff are great some of them speak english fluently. And they are very helpful if you needed something. They are 24/7 front desk. We stayed for 6 nights it was the best place would definitely come back again :) Ps there is laundry that cost 500 yen for 2 hours wash and dry additional 100 yen for dry if its still wet no need to bring detergent. There are also near train station (2-5min walk) and that goes to Kansai airport (not directly) you have to hop off from Sakai station. Though the staff tried to help us how to get there but their guide seems confusing and bit outdated location. Just look up in Google Map to not get confused by.

The size of the room was fantastic. It was for our last few nights in Japan and I did a lot of shopping. We had no problems with space in the room with our luggage. It was the biggest room we had in Japan. It was so great to have the option of 2 train stations. One station was super close to the hotel (the train going to the airport, so a HUGE plus!). The other hotel was part of Osaka metro, so on the weekends you could get a day pass for only 620 yen, which was a steal. Weekday pass is 820, so if you have 3 or more rides its definitely worth it. The all day luggage storage was a huge bonus for us because we had a 10pm flight, so it was great to be able to leave our luggage and explore for a day before heading out for our flight.

While a little way from the hustle and bustle of major tourist areas of Osaka, the hotel is conveniently located between 2 stations on 2 different train lines. There are convenience stores and a local supermarket nearby, as well as restaurants selling sushi and unagi during the daytime. The rooms are cozy and well appointed, and great value for money. Staff were friendly and will try thier best to assist you, even despite language barriers. And though Japan is generally a safe country, I did like that the hotel's main lobby kind of closed after 10pm, and only accessible via your key card or if the front desk let's you in (in the case of late check-ins). If the distance from Dotonburi is not an issue, would definitely recommend.

I stayed at the hotel during my 4 days in Osaka, I chose it mostly due to the location since it was easy to approach both from the airport and reach the Osaka station while still being in a quieter neighbourhood. I appreciated the not touristy area actually but still with the metro and train lines close by I could get to all the sights easily. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. I appreciated the effort for sustainability that they let the guests take amenities only if they need them and that there was a choice to not request cleaning every day. All the staff members I met were very kind and helpful, the check in and out went fast and easy.
